This is how close New Jersey is, you can see it just over the Hudson River. We are driving into Manhattan on the Henry Hudson Parkway.

Ground Zero. Right now they are building a memorial/museum/ or sorts.
St. Paul's Cathedral right near ground zero that was used by many mourners during that time. It is about two blocks from ground zero.
