A little bit of camping.....

We snuck away Thursday evening and went up near Anderson Dam to camp for a couple of nights. Josh had agreed to help take the singles branch down the river and so we thought that we would tag a long. We just hung out most of the day on Friday while they took a group down the river. On Saturday Kamrin got to ride with her dad for awhile and Kelsie got to go the whole way with Josh. They had a blast playing in the water. My kids and I could live on the river.....if only time allowed!
In the truck & ready to go (just waiting for dad to hurry up)!

At the campsite:

Kelsie all ready for the river!

Waiting for all of the singles to show up....

Movie Night

A friend and I went to see Mamma Mia at the coolest theatre in Twin Falls, the Orpheum. It's the older theatre downtown. It has some of the cool older archetecture and a balcony. I think that I like it the most because it reminds me of the old Burley theatre where I grew up.

Anyway, the movie...It was great!! The music made it so mmuch fun. It was a nice upbeat change for once!!!

P.S. I even purchased the soundtrack on Itunes this morning, it's great!!

I Love Etsy!!

I have found some really neat things on Etsy lately:

The coolest camera strap.......

& Bag..............

& Crayon bag that rolls up, How cool is that!

I love handmade stuff so much more, it is much more unique and so much nicer. No to mention, it usually helps support those super creative stay at home moms!! So, if you haven't checked it out, you should!

Loose Teeth!

Kelsie had her good friend Mikayle over today. They were both giggling and laughing in the bathroom. That usually means trouble, so I headed in to see what was going on. To my surprise they had pulled each others teeth. Silly Girls!!

Kyler is 9 months!!

Kyler had his nine month check up yesterday. (About three weeks late, not that we don't see doctors enough!) He weighs 18 lbs now and is finally in the 5th percentile. We can officially take him off of the higher calorie formula. Yay!! His head is larger than average (He's definitely a Barnes!) at 47 cm and he is 29 inches long.

He loves the bath!!

He loves to play!!

He is so mild mannered and loves to cuddle!!

This is how Kyler fell asleep last night. He was playing on the floor and I noticed that he had gotten quiet all of the sudden. This is how I found him fast asleep on the kitchen floor, tangled in his diaper bag, holding his shoe??!!

This baby has such an awesome temperament. I know, you're all sick of hearing about it!! I do think that he was given his personality for a reason. We now know that he will have to endure quite a few surgeries before he goes to Kindergarten. The surgeries will correct his eyes and his optic nerves. His little easy going happy personality has made all of the tests, treatments, and ongoing appointments so much easier. I know that Heavenly Father sent him to me this way to help make it easier on our family and especially on him. We love you Kyler!!!

Memory Tag!!

1. Add a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments. I can't wait to see what people remember.

***Isn't this cute? I tag EVERYONE!!!

Happy 31 to Josh!!

Josh's birthday was on Sundayy so we had a little party for him (That he was about an hour late for, but that's a whole other story) at the park on Saturday. We had yummy Costco cupcakes and a picnic. I asked the girls what they liked most about their dad in honor of his birthday and this is what they said.....

Kelsie:
1. We go hunting together sometimes.
2. Because do fun things together.
3. He lets me sleep in his room sometimes.
4. He's fun.
5. He takes me to the property to change water.

Kamrin:
1.He plays a lot.
2. He gives good hugs.
3. He gives me snacks.
4. He loves me.

Kyler:
He smiles everytime he sees his daddy, so he must like him!!

I am very proud of Josh and how hard he works for things. He works hard for our family and plays with us just as hard. We love him very much!!

This summer has been crazy!!

WOW, where has the time gone?! We have been running like crazy the past couple of weeks. We spent the week of the fourth with Kyler at Primary Children's. That is a whole separate story though. We ended the week having Josh meet us in Salt Lake and we took the girls to Stadium of Fire. I have no pictures however. They send an email with all of the things that you cannot bring with you to the stadium and cameras was one of them. When you get there no one checks and everyone else had one. I was bummed. I was an awesome show. They do a military flyover and it gives you goose bumps! Glenn Beck was a perfect host and the show was good. My girls were super excited to see Miley Cyrus. Kyler wasn't bothered a bit by the fireworks, he was just mesmerized. We drove home from Provo on Saturday, via Cabela's of course! On Sunday I drove to Boise because I took a class for our business all week. My sister has been with the kids while I was gone and Josh was at work. She has been a lifesaver this summer! Now I am home for now and am glad to be home with my family!!
