{School Spirit Week}

This week is school spirit week at Kelsie's school. They get to dress up every day. In conjunction with this they have a walkathon to raise money for supplies that the school needs. This year instead of having the kids get monitary pledges to buy supplies for their school they decided that they have more than some school, especially those in Texas hit hard by the hurricanes. So, this year they are doing a school supply drive and sending everything to Galvaston, Texas. You should see all the paper, pencils, and crayons that they have received. It is crazy! I am so glad that they decided to go this route and teach the kids the importance of giving to others. Kels has had a fun week so far... here is a picture of her hair on "Wacky Wednesday!"

{Pumpkin Patch}

We went to the pumpkin patch on Saturday to get some fall pics and let the kids outside a bit. The weather was beautiful and we had a great time! Kyler thinks it's funny to look away when I want to take his picture. His sisters won't hardly smile either....

{Fresh Peach Pie}

I love the fresh peach pie from Maddox. Since, it isn't close to me I searched to find a recipe similar to their fresh one crust peach pie and this is the recipe I found. Ohhh so good and ohh so easy!!

1 pie crust cooked. (I was lucky and have some of my grandma's frozen, but the Marie Callander one's from the grocery store work great!)

4-6 fresh peaches depending on size

1 cup sugar

1 cup water

2 1/2 Tablespoons cornstarch

3 Tablespoons Peach Jello-o

Cream

Mix together in a small saucepan the sugar, water, and cornstarch. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat to medium and cook stirring until the mixture is thick and clear. Remove from heat and add Jell-o powder to the mixture and cool. Peel and slice the peaches into the cooked crust. Pour glaze mixture over the peaches. Cool pie for at least 1 hr in the refrigerator. Serve with fresh whipped cream and Enjoy!

{1st grade picture}

Isn't she sooo cute?? I can't believe how big she is getting....she is becoming a girl!! I am so glad that the photographer lets you buy a CD with your pictures now. It is so much easier to post to the internet and do digital scrapbooking with. Technology can be nice...sometimes.

{How 'bout those Red Sox}

Yay! We are so happy at our house. The Red Sox won and are off to the the next series!!!

{Kamrin is 4!!}

We celebrated Kamrin's 4th birthday this weekend. She wanted to get her ears pierced for her birthday and dad ok'd it. So, Saturday afternoon we went to the mall and got her ears pierced. No picture though, Claire's won't let you take them anymore. We took one when we got home:

Blowing out her candles. She wanted pink candles and pink sprinkles.
Kyler trying ice cream. He wasn't quite sure why it is so cold.....

4 fun facts about Kamrin:
1. She loves school!!
2. She loves tumbling and dance class.
3. She loves to do puzzles.
4. She is very indepentdant, she doens't like to have help very often.

{1st Major Haircut}

Josh was getting sick of Kyler's shaggy hair and told me he was going to shave it all off. I coprimised and said I would get it cut, but I got to take him so that it wasn't all gone. It turned out super cute, but it was so hard to see it happen. When we were done he looked like a little boy, not my baby!!!

{Hopster}

Kelsie's friend at school traded her a caterpillar for a frog. What a deal!!?? We ended up with the frog. Great! So Kelsie now has a pet frog named Hopster (Creative, I know!) I'm sure that the other girls parents are quite relieved and loving their end of the deal. We, on the other hand, had to buy a cage, rocks, and have to get live crickets at Pet Smart once a week. The frog is her responsibility though and so far she has done pretty good.
Kyler checking out the frog...

{Our Photoshoot}

We were waiting at our house for Josh so that we could mow the lawn at our house that we have up for sale and were bored. We got the camera out of the car and had a little photo shoot. Not one of them would really sit still enough to get any good pictures, so these are much more candid...

{Kyler's Birthday Party}

Kyler's Fire Engine Cake (The frosting started to melt on the way to Grandma's)

Josh had to hold his hands to stop him from grabbing the lit candle.
Enjoying his first bite of cake. He inhaled it!
Opening presents with lots of help from his sisters. Notice we had to remove his shirt after he ate his cake. He was a mess!!
