{Resolutions}

Every year I try and set resolutions and most of the time I fail to accomplish them. I either forget about them or give up. This year I've not set resolutions per se, but have come to the realization that things have to change for me. I keep telling myself that through my struggles and tribulations that next week, next month or next year will be better. I continually fail to see things as any better and have struggled internally because of this. So, this year I'm not waiting for next week, next month, or next year to be better. I'm going to work on making every day better. I love this quote and it's my new motto for the year:

“Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass. It is about learning how to dance in the rain.”

This is going to take a lot of work for me, but it is much needed around here. Even with all of the struggle that we have had this year with the economy, each of our children having a surgery, and going back to work and school I am blessed to have my husband and my kids by my side each and every day. I was recently sent this video from a friend and it has a very inspiring message. This video along with the talk that it is taken from will be the guide to help keep me on track through the year on my journey to find inner peace, much needed inner peace.

“Anyone who says sunshine brings happiness, has never danced in the rain.”

Thanks for sharing, it's a good reminder. I find myself needing to enjoy the moment instead of always waiting for something. Best wishes for you and your family this year.
