{Kelsie's Baptism}

I can't believe that Kelsie is old enough to be baptized! Time goes by so fast and she is getting so big! She wanted an invitation made to send out to all of her friends and family, so this is what we put together.

{Josh's sidekick}

I can remember the day we had our first ultrasound and found out that Kelsie was a little girl. Josh seemed pretty disappointed at first. I'm not sure if he just didn't know what he would do with her, or if he just really wanted a little boy to take everywhere with him. Well, I think that he got the best of both world's with Kelsie. She love to be outside with him. She spent the day hunting with her daddy on Saturday and man does she love it. She can't wait until she gets to be the one to pull the trigger.....just ask her. She's already counting down the days until she can!

{Resolutions}

Every year I try and set resolutions and most of the time I fail to accomplish them. I either forget about them or give up. This year I've not set resolutions per se, but have come to the realization that things have to change for me. I keep telling myself that through my struggles and tribulations that next week, next month or next year will be better. I continually fail to see things as any better and have struggled internally because of this. So, this year I'm not waiting for next week, next month, or next year to be better. I'm going to work on making every day better. I love this quote and it's my new motto for the year:

“Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass. It is about learning how to dance in the rain.”

This is going to take a lot of work for me, but it is much needed around here. Even with all of the struggle that we have had this year with the economy, each of our children having a surgery, and going back to work and school I am blessed to have my husband and my kids by my side each and every day. I was recently sent this video from a friend and it has a very inspiring message. This video along with the talk that it is taken from will be the guide to help keep me on track through the year on my journey to find inner peace, much needed inner peace.

“Anyone who says sunshine brings happiness, has never danced in the rain.”

{Mr. Mischief}

Kyler has turned into Mr. Mischief! He has found a new wind of energy and keeps us going.....Here are some pictures of his recent adventures:

He undoes the Toilet paper daily.....
He gets out of his crib now and refuses to sleep, so we have to put the mattress off of his big boy bed on top of the crib to keep him in.

This of course if the worst mess of all. He was only left unattended for a very sort time...probabally a minute! Any why couldn't he have chosen something else besides very fine, sticky powdered sugar!

Look at how proud he is of his masterpiece!!

{Kelsie Cheerleading Comp}

We went to Hailey a couple of weeks ago for Kelsie's first cheerleading competition. She had never done something like this before, so she was a bit nervous. Her team did great and they received first place. She can't wait for her upcoming ones!

Josh and Kyler got a bit tired of sitting there watching.......

{Merry Christmas!}

Because of Winter break at school and work, I was finally able to get a family letter and Christmas card made. I think that they turned out pretty good! Now, getting them in the mail and sent is a whole other story!
