{Time flys when you're having fun...???}

Wow...where has the summer gone?? This month has passed so quickly! I cannot beleive that we are at the end. So, here's a quick recap of our last moth of summer.
**Kyler and I spent the first of August in Iowa preparing for his surgery later in the fall. This was s big deal for me to take him alone without Josh. He's pretty much an angel all of the time, however his is an almost 2 yr old boy....
**Good Friends came to visit and the kids spent lots of time in the hotel swimming pool and at Pretzelmaker...Thanks!! Stef, Chad, E and Preslee!! We had a blast!
** Then was my 10 yr reunion that I only got to go to part of.
** Next, was dance team camp all this past week. Not to mention ordering costumes, finishing choreography, and getting ready for FB season!!


Worst part of it all....I can't remember the last time I used my camera...UGHHH!

{A Wedding}

We spent Friday at a family friend's wedding. The kids were able to wait on the temple grounds during the wedding. Kyler loved all of the flowers and had to show them all to us.

{Cousins}

My sister and her kids were here from Canada a few weeks ago, so we decided to take a few pictures of all of the kids. We lined them all up and this is the first picture. Kyler really wanted to bother his cousin!

Try #3...we've got the baby back and now no one else wants to look at the camera or sit up for that matter!

{Happy 32 Josh!!}

Yesterday, Josh celebrated his 32nd birthday. Me and my sister decided that Josh needed a fancy cake, so we spent all day making this for my pepsi-holic husband:



It turns out those fancy fondant cakes are pretty hard to make. I now have a lot more respect for those professional bakers now. It may not have turned out how we wanted it but we sure had fun trying!

{River Trip}

We applied for a permit to raft the Salmon River earlier this year and were unsuccessful. Luckily, someone else turned their permit back and our friends were able to get it. We threw together a trip very quickly and are so glad because we had so much fun.....the only downfall was that Kyler was too young and had to stay behind. We missed him a ton, but enjoyed our much needed vacation. I took way too many pictures, so to save the boredom here are just a few of my favorites.

I never realized how many cabins, and other historical sites lay along the Salmon River. It was neat to hear all of the stories and history associated with the area.
